描述
Still white wine produced by Jermann in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. 1.50-liter magnum, 2022 vintage. An iconic wine, a blend of Chardonnay, Malvasia Bianca, Ribolla Gialla, and Sauvignon Blanc, which has shaped the history of Italian viticulture. The aroma is intense, ample, highly elegant, and persistent, with hints of honey and wildflowers. A bright straw-yellow color with golden highlights. Its flavor is dry, smooth, and very harmonious, with exceptional persistence thanks to its particularly full body.

The name Tunina refers to the former owner of the land on which the original vineyard is located and is dedicated to Casanova's poorest lover, who was a governess in Venice who was also called Tunina (Antonia). Already in 1976 considered by Luigi Veronelli as "The Mennea of Italian wines", then wine of the year 1997 vintage for Gambero Rosso and wine Oscar 1998 vintage for the Italian Sommelier Association. In conclusion, we quote from an article by Cesare Pillon that appeared in Civiltà del bere in October 2000: "....ma the Vintage Tunina is exceptional in many other ways. No one has ever realised this until now, yet it is the most extraordinary meditation wine in existence. And it is not so in a passive sense (wine to drink while meditating), but in an active sense: it is a wine that makes you meditate....'. |
