描述

Still red Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva, 15.5% ABV, produced by Casa Sartori 1898 in Veneto, 2017 vintage. An Amarone Riserva that expresses the power and elegance of a great Italian wine, the fruit of a long family tradition. The grapes are carefully selected and placed in small plastic crates holding approximately 5-6 kg. They are then placed in special drying rooms (fruttaio) with humidity control. They remain there for approximately three months, during which the moisture content loses 30% of its weight, but all of the essential components of the grape are highly concentrated. After racking, malolactic fermentation is facilitated, and the wines are then transferred to wood of various sizes, types, and origins. The barrels used are 20-25 hl, the 500-liter casks, and finally the 225-liter barriques. Regular racking, careful cellaring, and subsequent blending during the 25-month maturation period give the wine balance and rounded tannins. Spicy aromas of dried figs, morello cherry, and aromatic herbs. Ruby-red color with purple highlights, good intensity and density. Good persistence on the palate, with elegant, sweet tannins and a pleasant, velvety balsamic note. Balanced aftertaste, very enveloping and pleasant.

A company founded by Pietro Sartori in Negrar in 1898, his five sons all studied and, among a doctor, a lawyer and an engineer, the figure of Regolo stood out as the one who started the winemaking adventure.

The heir, endowed with a superfine palate, like a tailor, was able to 'sew' with extreme care the wines to propose to his clientele, which grew year after year.

After the Second World War, numbers also soared. Then, in 1952, when Regolo passed away, his two sons took over the business, opening it up to the foreign market.

The 1990s marked a turning point in the management of Casa Vinicola Sartori, which saw the entry of the Sartori family into the Board of Directors of the Colognola ai Colli winery to implement an ambitious growth project in the production and distribution of wines at a worldwide level. A goal successfully achieved.

酿酒工艺 Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where over the course of approx. 20-30 days of maceration, with punching-down and delestage, the new wine is born.
