The Barolo DOCG "LaTartufaia" is born from the union of Nebbiolo grapes coming from two very different vineyards: the power of Brunate, a territory with early maturity, rich in mineral salts that accentuate the differentiation of aromas, combined with the finesse of Serradenari, with delayed maturity and marked minerality.

Looking onto the land of the Barolo on one side and the entire span of Piedmont on the other, Serradenari offered a refuge for the peasants escaping the Black Death in the Middle Ages. Those peasants brought their savings with them and, therefore, by the year 1400, the place became known as Sara’ ‘Dne, or the coin mountain. To this day, ancient millstones are occasionally discovered in the woods of Serradenari. The village of La Morra probably owes its name to one of those millstones, called ‘Mole’ in the local dialect.
A small patch of land that nurtures both the white truffle of Alba and the minerals that help produce the great Langa wines. Serradenari is a symbol and an reassertion of the double inscription of this land on the UNESCO World Heritage List. 閱讀更多
