Still red Chianti Classico DOCG, 13.5% ABV, produced by Castello di Ama, founded in 1976. Blend: 96% Sangiovese and 4% Merlot. 0.75L bottle, 2022 vintage. A Chianti Classico that embodies the passion and dedication of one of Tuscany's most prestigious wineries. Vinification was induced by indigenous yeasts and separated by variety in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 30-32°C, with manual pumping over and a total maturation (cuvaison) of 25 days for the Sangiovese and 25 days for the Merlot. After racking, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in steel tanks. Aged in fine-grained oak barriques, without the use of new oak. Ruby red in color with vermilion highlights. On the palate, it is elegant and harmonious with spicy and well-balanced notes from the first impact.

To date, Castello di Ama owns and manages about 75 hectares of vineyards and 40 hectares of olive groves, relying on the work of more than 60 people.
