According to ancient maps, the name Cà del Pazzo derives from the locality today known as Caparzo. This ancient appellation today gives its name to a wine made from a selection of grapes from the company's vineyards in Caparzo and San Piero Caselle. Cà del Pazzo was first produced in 1982 and can therefore be considered to all intents and purposes one of the first Supertuscans produced in the Brunello area. Produced only in the best vintages and in a limited number of bottles, it is destined for an exceptionally knowledgeable public of enthusiasts.
