Morella

The Italian Gaetano Morella and Australia's Lisa Gilbee, a couple united and always smiling. The farmer and winemaker have managed to recover the ancient trees, clean the ground, leave it in better condition than how it is inherited. Lisa with courage and determination enacts his purposes, buys 16 hectares of vineyards in Manduria and begins his patient recovering work of Primitivo small trees, most of which were planted over 80 years ago.
The methods adopted in the vineyard are as natural as possible as the revegetation of land with mowing, biodynamic preparations and herbal to avoid chemicals; in the cellar trying to retrieve an ancient winemaking tradition such as wine in open vats, the manual punching and vertical press, all to make the most of an autochthonous grape of great value. And 'the primitive master and the vine symbol of this winery. The entire product line is distinguished by clean, fresh and extreme elegance.
