描述
Still red from Armenia, 13% ABV, produced by Zorah. 100% Areni Noir, 2015 vintage. A wine born from a story of passion and a return to origins, with grapes grown in a unique terroir. Fermentation takes place in rough, non-resined concrete tanks, using only natural yeast. Aged in local amphorae and untoasted barrels to soften the tannins. Aromas of red and black fruits blend into a ruby red. Juicy and structured, with silky tannins that soften the palate.

A marvelous idea began to take shape and never one to follow tradition, Zorik changed his mind about buying a vineyard in Tuscany in favour of returning to his ancestral roots in Armenia. He decided to restore traditional vinicultural values with a modern approach and create truly profound wines which would speak of this magical place. It took a dream, time, determination and a team of motivated professionals to make it all come together and after almost ten years of intense work the winery produced its first vintage.
With boundless enthusiasm and unshakable faith Zorik continues to step beyond the dream and take the adventure further. His powerful vision, of creating unique wines of undiluted quality, has become an integral part of the wineries philosophy and with each new chapter of its story Zorah wishes to expose Armenia’s potential in creating wines which rival the best in the world. 閱讀更多

| 陈酿 | Drawing inspiration from ancient local cultural traditions, Yeraz is then aged for long periods in local amphorae of various sizes, some of which are dug deep into the ground and sealed with wax to preserve the wine's intense flavours and authentic varietal purity. In addition to the amphorae, large, untoasted barrels are used to soften the tannins. After a light filtration, the wine is further aged in the bottle for a further 12 months. |
