Still rosé, Sangiovese Rubicone IGT, 12.5% ABV, produced by Umberto Cesari in Emilia-Romagna, 2024 vintage. A rosé that embodies the passion and tradition of a family that has made Sangiovese its flagship. The history of Umberto Cesari began in 1964 when the founder, among the first to believe in the potential of this terroir and the regional varieties, purchased the first 20 hectares on the hills of Castel San Pietro Terme. Direct pressing with a soft press, rigorous static decantation and low-temperature fermentation. Aged for 6 months in steel tanks. The nose reveals notes of small red fruits such as wild strawberry, raspberry, currant, cherry and pomegranate. It finishes with notes of poppy. It has a pleasant, bright antique rose color with silky reflections. The flavor is fresh and offers a pleasant savory finish and a lingering cherry note.
