An estate that bottled its first wine in 1980 and whose name, however, can be traced back to the Gonzaga era. Today it finds its identity through the meticulous work of the Piona family, through a scrupulous valorisation of the terroir read above all through international vines such as cabernet sauvignon and merlot. It was only in 1990 that La Prendina was proposed as an autonomous and distinct brand from Cavalchina, the owners' other famous winery, thanks also to the decisive individuality it had achieved through the Vigneto del Falcone, the winery's flagship wine at tastings. 閱讀更多

收获 A more prolonged maceration is dedicated to the Merlot which matures at the end of September as it has sweeter and less aggressive tannins. The Cabernet harvested in mid-October is drawn off in order to guarantee the maximum expression of the fruit.
