The origin of our cellar is lost in time. Baudana is the name of the family, the vineyard and the hamlet of Serralunga where it is located. The link between this land and the Baudana family is so ancient that it is shrouded in the mystery of time.

Luigi Baudana is one of the smallest wineries in Serralunga d'Alba. Located in the village of the same name, with its 2.6 hectares of vineyards "Luigi Baudana" is an authentic garagist expression of Barolo.

For over thirty years Luigi and Fiorina have been cultivating the Serralunga vineyards that have belonged to their family for five generations. The care for their land is reflected in the tenderness that unites them.

收获 Fruit is usually picked in mid-October
酿酒工艺 Delicate fermentation in open-top tini that runs approximately 20-30 days followed by cappello sommerso. Punch-downs and gentle pump-overs are the only operations over the time of maceration. Malolactic fermentation is spontaneous and usually happens in the following spring.
