A gravelly hill rises majestically above Rechtenthal Castle at the foot of Monte Roen, Tramin’s highest peak (2,116 m). Limestone-rich marine sediments and cool downdrafts from the Höllentalbach stream shape this special site, where Gewürztraminer thrives with remarkable lightness and brilliant acidity.
