Still red Bolgheri DOC Superiore, 14.5% ABV, 100% Merlot, produced by Campo al Pero. 0.75 L bottle, 2019 vintage. A Bolgheri Superiore dedicated to Vittorio, expressing the excellence of the Tuscan terroir. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature, with the wine remaining on the skins for approximately three weeks; malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques. Aged in small oak barrels for approximately 16 months, it then completes its maturation in bottle for an additional 10 months. On the nose, it offers aromas of small black fruits and sweet spices. On the palate, it displays good balance and elegance, persistence, and a pleasant tannin structure.
