描述
Bolgheri Superiore still red wine, 1.5L magnum, 2022 vintage, produced by Argentiera. A wine that embodies the excellence of Bolgheri, with a blend of 46% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 11% Cabernet Franc. The Argentiera estate, with its vineyards close to the coast, offers a unique terroir that is reflected in this wine. The 2022 harvest began on August 25th, about a week earlier than the historical average. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration last 25 days at a controlled temperature of 28-30°C in stainless steel and concrete vats. Aged for 14-16 months in barriques, tonneaux, and large oak barrels, and 12 months in bottle. A riot of warm notes of wild berries and mulberry, peony, cola, cured tobacco, and sweet spices. Bright ruby color. Sinuous mouthfeel and tapered tannins anticipate a long finish with smoky tones.

The name Argentiera derives from ancient silver mines, whose traces are preserved by the history ’s pen since the Etruscans. The Etruscan civilisation developed the peninsula’s first metallurgy, and their far-trading ships brought the art of metalworking to the remote corners of the flourishing archaic Greek settlements.
The estate extends over 153 hectares and embraces a one-of-a-kind biodiversity, a fundamentally important biological mosaic that allows the vineyards to flourish to their optimum extent, protected from insects, harmful animals, and climate-change stress. 閱讀更多

| 故事 | The 2022 harvest officially began on 25 August, about a week earlier than Argentiera's historical average. The first grapes to be harvested were the Merlots from the Ceccosodo vineyard and the Vermentino, followed by the first Merlot grapes for Argentiera. During the last week of September, which marked the end of the harvesting process, the harvest moved to the estate's most vocated vineyards between 150 and 200 metres above sea level in the Altana zone, the highest and most representative point of the entire estate, and saw the bunches of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, destined for the production of Argentiera Bolgheri Doc Superiore. |
| 气候 | The 2022 vintage will be remembered as the hottest in decades and has, as a result, required a great deal of effort to reduce the effects of rising temperatures and irregular rainfall, working on the plants' ability to respond in a balanced manner to water stresses and utilising the vine's natural ability to adapt to different climates. Management of the soil, fertilisation, leaf walls and micro-irrigation made it possible to harvest perfectly healthy grapes without wilting, thanks also to the mid-August rains (a total of 42 mm). Altitude: 180/205 m. asl. Vineyard exposure: north/north-west/west/south. |
