描述

Nativae Montepulciano D’Abruzzo DOP is a wine with 4 months maceration on the skins, unfiltered and unclarified. Fermented spontaneously with the yeast hidden in the grape. This extraordinary wine is made from 40 year old grapes cultivated with wisdom. This wine is our respect for the traditions of the native region. This is fine winemaking at its purest, most fundamental level.

Nose of red plums, very intense, yet nuanced. Surprising amount of fruit on the palate showing singed herbs alongside plum skin, dark cherry fruit, and liquorice.

Deep ruby red color with a garnet reflections.

The long, clean, focused finish is buoyed by well integrated but refreshing acidity. The end result is an amazingly complex and profound wine that can age for years, even a decade or more.

This is how the idea of Tenuta Ulisse came to life, vineyards cultivated with wisdom and experience by the Ulisse family and the search, with each harvest, for a new masterpiece.

Tenuta Ulisse is tied to the historical vines of Abruzzo, to the traditions of the places where they are cultivated and vinified, the sap of a millenary culture that still nourishes our passion for wine. A company with a return to its origins, in love with wine and Abruzzo. Tenuta Ulisse's objectives are dictated by values of simplicity, through work and knowledge, in a stronger experience of one's own land, of different markets and cultures in a changing world.
