Sandhi is a small Californian winery that focuses on a few vineyards in the area. The Rita Hills are in Santa Barbara County. The winery was founded in 2010 by Rajat Parr and winemaker Sashi Moorman.
Sandhi represents an essential union in wine production: the collaboration between man, land and vine. The voluntary participation of all three elements is necessary to make a great wine, and the winemaker must make this collaboration rich and nourishing for all involved. Understanding these joint efforts informs Sandhi's exploration of the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grape varieties throughout the Santa Barbara County terroir.
The individual vineyards from which these grapes are sourced - some legendary, some new - have been exhaustively scrutinised for character, personality and balance.
