Robert Charlemagne, the founder of the brand, began marketing his wine in the early 1940s. His son-in-law, Jacques Chaillot, took over and, for more than 35 years, he managed to make the business prosper, giving the company the possibility of pressing at home, vinifying in thermo-regulated vats, etc... Now retired, his children, Sophie and Didier Delavier Chaillot, have taken up the torch with the same objective: quality.
Exclusively planted with Chardonnay, our vineyard of a little more than 4 hectares, located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, is the object of attentive care in a permanent concern of research of quality, respect of the soil and authenticity.
It is for this reason that in March 2000, the estate voluntarily joined AMPELOS, a quality charter based on sustainable cultivation and respect for the environment, and has just been approved by Bureau Ver, the ampelos control body. 閱讀更多
