Quadra was established in 2003 thanks to the idea of Ugo Ghezzi, an entrepreneur in the renewable energy sector who, supported by his children Cristina and Marco, decided to purchase a small winery that he had completely renovated. The Ghezzi family's winegrowing project had already begun in the early 1990s with the planting of the first Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards in Marzaghette di Adro (Brescia), giving rise to the farm of the same name.
