弗留利東方山脈從烏迪內省一直延伸至斯洛文尼亞邊境，微風拂過，葡萄園變得涼爽乾燥，但寒冷的北風卻無法阻擋，因為它們被朱利安前阿爾卑斯山脈阻擋了。 這裡的土壤富含泥灰岩和砂岩，當地人稱之為 "ponca"，其特點是肥力較低，因此非常適合葡萄樹的栽培，否則葡萄的產量會過高，對於葡萄中的糖分和香氣的濃縮具有特別的優勢。正是在這樣的背景下，Fantinel 家族從 Mario Paron 手中收購了釀酒廠，也就是後來的 La Roncaia。當時是 1988 年，最初的構想是將所生產的葡萄酒主要投放到當地市場，但當第一批成功的葡萄酒上市後，重點便轉移到全國市場，然後再轉移到國際市場。如今，La Roncaia 已成為年產六萬瓶葡萄酒的釀酒廠，品質可靠優良，完美融合了東方領地的美妙自然。 Tenuta Sant'Helena di Fantinel 和 La Roncaia 釀酒廠分別以 Venko 2014 和 Eclisse 2021 榮獲著名的 Merano 2022 The Wine Hunter 競賽金獎，並在下一屆葡萄酒節上以雙倍專用空間贏得一席之地。
