Sweet, botrytized passito, Tokaji Aszu 6 Puttonyos, produced by Füleky in Hungary, 2007 vintage. 0.50 l bottle, 11% ABV. A legendary wine, made with botrytized Furmint grapes, expressing the richness and complexity of the Tokaj terroir. Notes of sage, cloves, basil, and dried figs. Its acidity makes the wine fresh, with flavors of candied orange and pistachio. A meditation wine, perfect with blue cheeses or dried fruit desserts.

The winery was named after György Füleky, founder of the First Tokaj Wine Growers’ Society. The beautifully renovated and restored winery and the 18th-century Baroque Füleky mansion are located in the centre of Bodrogkeresztúr next to the late-Gothic church, the former school and priest’s residence.

The modern winery constructed from local stone and sympathetically to the historic environment won the Industrial Building of the Year 2011 award in the online poll of ArchDaily.com, the world’s most popular architecture website. This prestigious award has made the building’s asymmetric facade – a composition with the original medieval stone wall, the modern concrete surface and the softness of oak – internationally known.
