Champagne Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes Extra Brut, produced by Egly-Ouriet in the Champagne region of France. Traditional method, no vintage indicated, 12.5% ABV, 100% Pinot Noir. An excellence that comes from old Pinot Noir vines in the heart of Ambonnay. Vinified entirely in oak, this champagne offers a unique sensory experience. Aromas of figs and minerals, almost earthy, blend in an extremely fine perlage. On the palate, it has excellent balanced acidity, honeyed and mineral; it is intense and persistent, with a bitter cocoa finish.

A Champagne that represents its terroir: the vine and soil are found throughout this wine, thanks to old vines, a few winemaker's secrets and modern technology. Egly-Ouriet produces champagne only with grapes from its 11.5 hectares company's vineyards, the most important of which are in Ambonnay, the home of Pinot Noir, the others in Bouzy, Verzenay and Vrigny. Quality begins on this particular soil, made up of layers of chalk that reflect the sun's rays and release heat to the vines at night, allowing excess water to be absorbed and giving the grapes a particularly mineral taste. 閱讀更多
