Living legend and world oenology German, Helmut Dönnhoff (brilliantly supported by his son Cornelius, who recently won in 2014 the prestigious prize awarded by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung for the best winemaker German) has been and continues to be above all one of the most forward-looking and inspired architects of 'rise of the Nahe to the rank of wine-growing region of stature equal to that of the most renowned and historical Rheingau and Mosel.
