身為一位年輕的釀酒師，David 從第一瓶酒開始，就以其果斷、明確的風格，成為勃艮第的新秀之一，他總是追求潔淨，但同時也追求強度。 他的第一瓶酒讓他躋身「現代主義者」之列，追求葡萄酒的高度濃縮，但多年來，他的「手藝」不斷進化，追求優雅、甜美的單寧。David 擁有 17 公頃的葡萄園，但有一半的葡萄是給葡萄園主 François Feuillet 的，因此最高產量為 85,000 瓶，其中 75% 為黑皮諾。 在 David 的發揮下，這種葡萄呈現濃郁的紅色，帶有辛辣味，礦物質與單寧完美融合，總是如天鵝絨般柔軟。從「小」的 Bourgogne Pinot Noir，到微妙細緻的氣味已經表露無遺的村莊，再到礦物質風土佔主導地位的特級葡萄園，年輕的 Duband 證明了自己在詮釋勃艮第非凡果實方面的技巧和能力，並將自己打造成 Côte d'Or 葡萄園的領導人物。
