Still red Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, 13% ABV, produced by Castello di Fonterutoli (Mazzei) since 1435. Vintage 2020. A wine that embodies the history and passion of the Mazzei family, with Sangiovese grapes grown in the heart of Tuscany. Aged for 16 months in 500-liter French oak barrels. Hints of wild berries and red fruits blend into an elegant and complex bouquet. On the palate, the wine is fresh and elegant, with a structure that promises a long evolution. Ideal with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
