The Domaine Bernard Defaix is located in full Chablis, on the left bank of the Serein river. Led by Bernard himself and his sons Sylvain and Didier, who came to the fourth generation of winemakers, in 2009 the Domaine obtained organic certification but in reality the attention to nature and the centrality of the vine represent the company's focus long ago.
In the daily work in the vineyard there is also a biodynamic approach aimed at protecting the vineyard, in the treatment of which the use of synthetic chemicals is avoided.
