Still red wine from Tuscany IGT, 13.5% ABV, produced by Luce della Vite - Frescobaldi. Blend of Merlot and Sangiovese. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine born from the encounter between Vittorio Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi, an ambitious project in Montalcino. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Maceration on the skins: 20 days. Malolactic fermentation carried out in stainless steel. Aged for 12 months in barriques (partly new, partly used). The nose is impressive for its intensity and clarity, with hints of berries and jam, but also tobacco and a light spice. Intense and brilliant red color with purple reflections. The palate redounds to the full, enriched by a light toasted note. Silky and well-blended tannins provide excellent roundness and a long finish.

From that meeting a wine was born, inspired by an ambitious project and linked to one of Tuscany's election territories for the production of outstanding wines. The project consisted in creating a wine in Montalcino that would go beyond the boundaries of tradition, without denying it, by drawing on the experience of two historical families in the world of wine.
The dream took shape in Tenuta Luce, a name that evokes the light of the Montalcino sun, which is the source of life and nourishment, which marks the passage of the seasons and gives rhythm to every agricultural activity.
