Still red, Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva DOCG, 15.5% ABV, produced by Casa Sartori 1898. Blend: 60% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 10% Corvinone, 10% Croatina. 0.75 L bottle, 2015 vintage. An Amarone Riserva born from the passion of a historic winery, founded in 1898, and from the expert care taken in selecting the grapes. The grapes are carefully selected and placed in small plastic crates of approximately 5-6 kg and then placed in special drying rooms (fruttaio) for approximately 3 months. Spicy aromas of dried figs, morello cherry, and aromatic herbs. Ruby red color with violet reflections of good intensity and density. On the palate, it is balanced, with elegant tannins and a pleasant, velvety balsamic note. Excellent with red meats, game, and mature cheeses.

A company founded by Pietro Sartori in Negrar in 1898, his five sons all studied and, among a doctor, a lawyer and an engineer, the figure of Regolo stood out as the one who started the winemaking adventure.

The heir, endowed with a superfine palate, like a tailor, was able to 'sew' with extreme care the wines to propose to his clientele, which grew year after year.

After the Second World War, numbers also soared. Then, in 1952, when Regolo passed away, his two sons took over the business, opening it up to the foreign market.

The 1990s marked a turning point in the management of Casa Vinicola Sartori, which saw the entry of the Sartori family into the Board of Directors of the Colognola ai Colli winery to implement an ambitious growth project in the production and distribution of wines at a worldwide level. A goal successfully achieved.

收获 The grapes are carefully selected and placed in small plastic crates of about 5-6 kg and then placed in special drying rooms (fruttaio) with the possibility of humidity control. Here they will remain for a period of approx. 3 months where there will be a 30 % drop in weight of the wet part but a high concentration of all the essential components of the grapes.
酿酒工艺 Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where the new wine is made over a period of approx. 20-30 days of maceration, with punching-down and delestage.
