Azienda Agricola La Mancina covers about 40 hectares - i.e. 100 acres - on Montebudello's sunny hills, at an average height of 200 meters above sea level in the south-west of the province of Bologna, in the heart of "Colli Bolognesi DOC - DOCG" wines area.
It was established in the early 60's by the Zanetti family, which still owns the estate today. It's fame has been continuously increasing becoming one of the most important and appreciated in the area.
The local white grape variety called Pignoletto comprises just half of the total production, the remainder comprising red of Barbera, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
