描述

Still red from Trentino-Alto Adige, Alto Adige DOC, 13.5% ABV, produced by Hofstatter. 100% Pinot Noir. 0.75-liter bottle, 2020 vintage. A Pinot Noir that embodies the passion and expertise of five generations of winemakers. Vinification and maturation are carried out exclusively in stainless steel, followed by a year in pièces for 1st and 2nd passage. Further stabilization in stainless steel and another year of aging. Aged in barrique for 12 months. Smoky notes, with hints of currant, light tar, and a final aroma of wild strawberries. Very clear garnet color. Bold, quite balanced, still with some acidic-tannic edges and a decidedly persistent finish.
