Terre Cevico's story is linked to the century tradition of cooperatives in Emilia-Romagna. In fact, in 1913, in Nonatola, near Modena, the first cooperative winery in Emilia-Romagna was founded to unite small wine growers and guarantee them dignity and respect. Today, the cooperative movement in Romagna, of which Terre Cevico has been part since 1963, represents a virtuous system that creates income for all members with fairness and responsibility.

Increasing the collective value of terroirs and production and providing the market with quality wines at the right price. Quality is the main feature in all company wines, whether DOCG, DOC, IGT or table wines, raw materials, processing, soil selection, and technical resources. For this reason, the company knows that quality is the only feature to successfully compete in the Italian and European wine markets and satisfy its customers.

The following wines were awarded at the 25th Berliner Wine Trophy in 2021:

Extroso Rubicone IGT Rosso: Gold Medal

B.io Sicilia DOC Nero d'Avola/Cabernet 2020: Gold Medal

Galante Romagna DOC Sangiovese Appassimento: Gold Medal

Wine making After de-stemming, the grapes are not crushed, allowing them to remain intact, reducing damage to the skins and optimizing colour extraction. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 23-25°C for 8 0 days. Frequent pump-overs and delestage are carried out during the fermentation to achieve soft extraction of aromas and gentle tannins. After racking, malolactic fermentation is induced.
