Story | The name Gewürztraminer goes back to the neighbouring village of Kaltern Tramin, where this variety was first mentioned in a document in the 14th century. Whether the variety really comes from Tramin is questionable. The fact is that it has a very long tradition in South Tyrol and produces excellent wines. |
