A still red from the Jura region of France, 11% ABV, produced by Domaine de la Borde. 100% Poulsard, a native grape variety that perfectly expresses the character of the terroir. 2023 vintage, 0.75L bottle. A wine that embodies the producer's philosophy, focused on sustainability and enhancing the terroir. The grapes are hand-picked and fermented using indigenous yeasts, without the use of synthetic molecules. Intriguing aromas of red fruit are complemented by spicy notes that evoke the wine's complexity. On the palate, the wine is delicate, with hints of pepper, inviting a second sip.

The estate consists of 5ha of vines aged from 7 to 77 years old on the marly valleys of Pupillin.

The Ploussard, Trousseau, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Savagnin grape varieties are grown on different plots of land whose soils and exposure give them their typical character, thus producing terroir wines on a family scale. The grapes are harvested by hand in order to start the vinification process with quality sorted grapes.

Respect for the terroir is reflected in essential principles such as contact treatments, without synthetic molecules (& biodynamic preparations), natural grassing and working of the soil (ploughing, butting, scratching...), no chemical weeding, in order to preserve the steeply sloping terroirs, control of the doses of So2 to their minimum, fermentations by indigenous yeasts from the terroir... The estate has practiced organic farming since 2012.

Biodynamic preparations (horn dung & horn silica) are also applied to all the vines since 2012. 閱讀更多
