描述

Banfi, in fact, was one of the seven companies that accepted the gamble of starting a production of quality Metodo Classico sparkling wines in Piedmont in the early 1990s, thus reclaiming the Piedmontese roots of the Italian sparkling wine sector. The project continued over the years. In 1997 the 'Cuvée Aurora' was born, precisely to evoke the idea of a new frontier, a new 'dawn' of quality Metodo Classico production in Piedmont.

Founded in 1978 by the vision of Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani, Banfi represents a marriage of winemaking passion and technological innovation. Through collaboration with Ezio Rivella, one of Italy's most eminent winemakers, the land purchased in Montalcino was transformed into a crucible of quality and potential. The acquisition of the historic Piedmontese winery Bruzzone subsequently further enriched the portfolio, integrating the sparkling wine tradition of Piedmont into the Banfi world.

酿酒工艺 Soft pressing of the grapes is followed by static clarification of the must, which is subjected exclusively to fermentation at a controlled temperature of 17°C. The cuvée is composed of at least 90 per cent of the wine thus obtained and the remainder from the previous vintage, is aged in French oak barrels.
