Tenuta Ulisse originated in 2006 with a new vision: a quest for quality and a future for the Abruzzo winemaking tradition. However, to do this, the right place, time and best people were needed. This is how the idea of Tenuta Ulisse came to life, vineyards cultivated with wisdom and experience by the Ulisse family and the search, with each harvest, for a new masterpiece.

Tenuta Ulisse is tied to the historical vines of Abruzzo, to the traditions of the places where they are cultivated and vinified, the sap of a millenary culture that still nourishes our passion for wine. A company with a return to its origins, in love with wine and Abruzzo. Tenuta Ulisse's objectives are dictated by values of simplicity, through work and knowledge, in a stronger experience of one's own land, of different markets and cultures in a changing world. To be there and to be recognised because they are understood, with a deep and elegant wine that speaks, in a modern way, of one's land in the world. Harvest The whole grapes are chilled in our exclusive cooling tunnel with an immediate drop in temperature and consequent cold maceration of the skin peels.
Wine making After destemming, direct pressing in stainless steel vats and soft crushing in inert environment at 0.7 bar. Cold static decantation at 14 °C for 24 - 48 hours. Fermentation in inerted stainless steel tanks at 8 1 °C.
Aging 3 months in stainless steel.
