Still white Verdicchio di Matelica DOC, 13% ABV, produced by Belisario. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine born in the heart of the Marche region, from a winery founded in 1971. Aged for 15 months in glass-lined concrete barrels without racking. A distinctive aroma characterized by ripe fruity notes of yellow peach with its fresh stone, flowering broom shrubs, wild fennel, dry hay, and a deep, calcareous minerality. A luminous golden color with greenish highlights. The well-balanced, fresh glycerine aroma on the palate is carried by the savory vortex toward a long finish laden with consistent mineral and varietal notes.
