Wine has been produced at Strasserhof and laid down by young vintner Hannes Baumgartner himself since 2003.
Our particular wine specialities among the Eisacktal white wines include Müller Thurgau, Grüner Veltliner, Sylvaner, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Kerner, Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer, the CUVÉE "AnJo" - and a Rosé represents our red wine speciality range.

Our 5,5-hectare cultivation at a medium altitude of 680-750 m above sea level provides ideal conditions for top quality wines with unique flavour. The sunny, south-west facing position of the 2 to 45-year-old vines and the light, sandy, gravelly soil conditions are vital to the elegant, fruity freshness of our white wines.

Situated above the Neustift monastery in the South Tyrol, our estate is one of the most northerly vineyards in Italy.

We successfully export our wine to Italy, Austria, Germany, Holland, Japan, Belgium, Denmark and the USA, selling around 55,000 bottles every year.
