Brut classic method sparkling wine, produced by Villa Huesgen in the Moselle-Saar-Ruwer region of Germany. 100% Riesling, 2016 vintage. A Riesling that celebrates family tradition, with a history dating back to 1735. Villa Huesgen's vineyards are located in the Trabener Würzgarten and Enkircher Steffensberg areas, on steep terraced slopes with south and southwest exposure. Intense and fragrant nose with prominent candied citrus, followed by notes of dried fruit and brioche. Fresh, full-bodied, and creamy in the mouth, the effervescence is evident.

Villa Huesgen is located in Germany, in the heart of the Moselle, one of the most important wine regions in the world and among the most extensive.

Characterized by steep terraced vineyards that overlook the homonymous river, it offers wines of great value, particularly elegant, mineral and fruity, thanks to the soil rich in gray and blue slate, which imprisons the sun's rays and the particularly favorable microclimate thanks to the important excursions thermal.

The company has been linked to this territory since 1735, founded by Johannes Huesgen, a passionate merchant, who bought some vineyards on the Moselle and began the wine trade, continued and increased by Johann-Wilhelm Huesgen, who laid the foundations for the expansion of the family business.

Thus, generation after generation, we arrive at the current Villa Huesgen, managed today by Adolph Huesgen VIII, in the ninth chapter of this compelling family saga that sees Riesling as the absolute protagonist

In fact, the family has always focused exclusively on this vine, considering the Moselle region to be the ideal territory, from the terroir and the particularly favorable climate, perfect for enhancing its varietal characteristics.

The vineyards of Villa Huesgen are located in the part called Trabener Würzgarten and Enkircher Steffensberg, on steep terraced slopes, facing south and south-west. The harvest is done manually and the bunches are selected through different control phases, to preserve and offer the highest quality of the grapes.
