The 10 Vendemmie from the Tenuta Ulisse winery is an excellent red wine that combines ten years of splendid harvests in a single bottle. This very young winery—founded just in 2006 in Crecchio, in the province of Chieti—is already an important brand in the Abruzzo region and aims to promote the winemaking traditions of its land. By combining the best of its grapes, its vines, and its terroir, the company has designed the 10 Vendemmie as a tribute to its region and an opportunity to celebrate the passion and commitment of its early years. With these limited edition bottles, you will be offered a one-of-a-kind tasting, and you will be able to savor, sip after sip, a red wine as intense and complex as the lands of Abruzzo. The 10 Vendemmie is in fact obtained from quality Amaranta Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes. The Montepulciano vines of the Abruzzo winery grow on the ancient Teatine hills, sinking their roots into a clayey and calcareous soil and enjoying a position not too far from the sea, thus enjoying a sunny and well-ventilated climate. For each selected harvest, the vinification takes place on the skins. After pressing and destemming, the grapes are left to macerate for 15 - 20 days and the subsequent alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks where the temperature varies between 24 and 26 degrees. Subsequently, a portion of the mass is left to age in fine French oak barriques for at least 12 months.
