The Prunotto estate is located in Alba, the most important city in the Langhe area halfway between Barbaresco and Barolo on the right side of the Tanaro river, on gentle plains surrounded by vineyards in the Langhe and Roero territories. Alba’s surrounding landscapes are captivating. The natural beauty of the gently rolling hills alternate with small sloping valleys covered by rows of meticulously cultivated vineyards.

The Antinori family, charmed by such rich natural beauty, unique vineyards and soils, decided to invest time and energy in this terroir confident that their efforts would make Prunotto what it is today, one of the most important winemaking estates in the Piedmont region.

故事 Serra is a small vineyard located in the southern part of the commune of Serralunga d'Alba and is mentioned as a prestigious vineyard in the 1990 Atlas of Langa Vineyards.
气候 The 2020 vintage began with a winter characterised by mild temperatures and little rainfall. The first part of spring was dry and sunny and ensured an early and even vegetative recovery. The rainfall in May and June allowed for an important accumulation of water in the soil, which combined with the non-excessive summer temperatures prevented water stress phenomena. The good climatic conditions in September, with considerable temperature swings between day and night, ensured optimal ripening of the grapes. Exposure: South/East.
