描述
In the local Valdobbiadene dialect, “riva” means a single, specific vineyard located on the hills, often on a steep slope. Duca di Dolle Spumante Extra Brut “Rive di Rolle” Cuvèe is made with Glera grapes cultivated in a single vineyard, with over 50-years-old plants. Thanks to the particular composition of soil and the favorable exposure, this “riva” continues to produce a small but high quality crop of fruit. A real Cru produced in limited and numbered quantity.

The estate covers 75 hectares, 15 of which are dedicated to vineyards. The remaining land is covered by green woods, meadows, orchards, gentle paths and even a small lake. Corners of paradise waiting to be discovered, enjoying the tranquillity of luxuriant nature.
The Duca di Dolle vineyards, cultivated using natural methods, are located in an area particularly suited to the production of Prosecco within the historic estate that also includes an ancient monastery, now converted into a charming agriturismo.
The vineyards, here called 'rive', are located on a hillside, about 300 metres above sea level in Rolle, the first village in Italy to be named a landscape conservation area. Thanks to the balanced chemical constitution of the soil, the constant humidity and the dry and ventilated climate, they are ideal for growing high-quality grapes while minimising the use of pesticides.
In 2021, the International Wine & Spirit Competition - IWSC awarded two of the company's wines:
-EXD - Extra Dry: Gold Medal and awarded 95 points. The award-winning wine was described as follows: "A textbook example. Wonderfully pure and complex aromas of golden apple, pear and peach with a raised flowery note. The creamy, well-balanced texture and lively acidity create an incredibly long and refined finish".
- BRT - Brut: Silver Medal and awarded 90 points. The award-winning wine was described as follows: "Pale straw yellow, lively mousse. Delicate aromas lead to notes of white peach. A certain minerality on the palate develops a fruity character. Uncomplicated style, but developed with good length and a good finish".
In 2022, Decanter awarded the following wines:
- Duca Di Dolle, Cuv Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore 2020 was awarded a Bronze Medal and 87 points in the Decanter World Wine Award 2022;
- Duca Di Dolle, Brt Brut Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore 2020 was awarded a Bronze Medal and 86 points in the Decanter World Wine Award 2022;
- Duca Di Dolle, EXD Extra Dry Prosecco di Conegliano Valdobbiadene Superiore 2020 was awarded a Bronze Medal and 87 points at the Decanter World Wine Award 2022.
The prestigious wine guide Veronelli 2023 awarded the following wines:
- Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut BRT 2021 with the red lotus flower (wine rated 80-93/100 for the first time);
