描述
The Barolo of the commune of Castiglione Falletto is dedicated to the memory of my family, the Fontana family. When I was 17, I decided to leave school to work on the farm with my parents and in particular with my grandfather Saverio: I felt an attraction for everything that revolved around the world of wine... the vineyards, the cellar, the tractors. At that time I was fascinated by the stories told by the old farmers that I often met in the vineyards on the estates adjacent to those owned by my family, and with whom I would often talk, listening to their stories of a life dedicated to tending the vines, lived with little money but with great wealth of spirit, heart and honesty. I believe it was in those moments that I learnt to absolutely and unconditionally love the land, the land of Castiglione Falletto. I dedicate this wine to all the Fontana family, who for six generations have continued to believe in this land, and in a special way to my grandfather Saverio, my master of the vineyard and of life. Thank you..

This is an area of rare majestic beauty, with vine-covered hills and castle-topped communities looking across to each other over steep, plunging valleys.
Here, in our beautiful land dedicated to the production of wine, my family have grown grapes and produced wines for at least six generations.
Today I continue to grow the traditional grapes of Le Langhe, dolcetto, barbera and nebbiolo, to produce a range of classic and prestigious wines that are the purest expression of the land from which they are born, Le Langhe. 阅读更多
