In Friuli, the 't' in Merlot is pronounced with vigour. The origin of the name is French? Patience. As with other grape varieties, Merlot too has found wise hands in Friuli that have adopted it.

If there is one thing you never forget on a trip, it is your roots. And so we did: Simone and Serena. Simone for years touring the world, in America, Australia, New Zealand. Thousands of kilometres from home. Serena convinced to take other paths, other than wine, and instead rediscovering her enthusiasm for walking among the vineyards of Dolegnano, alongside her brother.

Waiting for us, a safe harbour: our parents Elodia and Giovanni, who have always made wine their most eagerly awaited journey.
