Weingut Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken

This family business has very ancient origins. Today the business is in the hands of Dorothee Zilliken, supported by her father Hanno, who proves that she has what it takes to secure the future of the company. Almost all of the estate's vineyards are located on the famous Saarburger Rausch, and are cultivated exclusively in Riesling. The resulting wines mainly belong to the range from sweet to sweet wines, as in the tradition of Saarland. These territories give Riesling an almost pungent freshness, perfect for balancing sweetness and guaranteeing wines of incredible longevity. Zilliken wines, in fact, can mature for up to 30 or 40 years in bottle, becoming increasingly complex, fine and noble.
