Vignoble Dampt Frerès
Bernard Dampt worked his family’s land just as his parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents had done before him. But by the late 1970s, all signs pointed to the end of this great tradition. Unwilling to accept defeat, he decided to begin the adventure of winemaking in 1980 so he could ensure a future for his three sons. Carrying on their father’s legacy, Eric, Emmanuel, and Hervé run the business today and have expanded to 60 hectares covering the areas of Tonnerre and Chablis.
