Vermouth OSCAR.697 was born in 2012 with the intention of creating an exclusive product. To do this the creators have relied on a team of experts who have worked to obtain a product of the highest level in every respect. The best has been sought, excellence in every field.
Starting from the “Vermuttista” Oreste Sconfienza of La Canellese: experienced producer of Vermouth both under his own brand and as a third party since 1957, in the area where Vermouth itself was born, the town of Calamandrana, a fraction of Canelli, in province of Asti, in the Piedmont region, Italy.
The "equilibrist of flavors", Oscar Quagliarini, is instead the one who, with a clever mix of tradition and modernity, humanity and professionalism, experience and wisdom in the art of mixing, has created, after three months of tests, the sample recipe: codified with number 697. Finally there is the internationally renowned Italian-Australian designer David Caon who dressed the product with a clean and essential packaging, able to recall the contemporary and Italian craftsmanship and at the same time at ease in the international spirits arena from all over the world.
