In the seventies, he creates the Calvados Lelouvier company which he will pass on to his 112 children. His son Christian takes over the management.
It is in the Orne, a la Ferté Macé, at the "Domaine des champs", residence of André Lelouvier, that the calvados aged at the time.
In 2016, following the death of Christian Lelouvier, the company's business was acquired by Calvados Christian Drouin SAS.
