Laphroaig
Laphroaig is one of the iconic distilleries of the island of Islay, home to scotch whiskey, where smoke and sea contribute to the creation of unique single malt. It was founded in 1815 by Donald and Alexander Johnston, a member of Clan Donald, and remained in the family until the mid-fifties of the last century. Today he is part of the Suntory group. Among the many awards is the friar of the Royal Warrant of the Prince of Wales. Laphroaig defines itself as "the most richly flavored of all Scotch whiskeys", the "richest aromas of all Scotch whiskeys", to specify the productive impression that has never failed. The range of products is very wide, indicative of the desire to experience distillery, both in terms of aging and refining but they have never stopped producing the famous "10 years" which is the absolute symbol.
