The name was probably derived from the Latin word ilex (Holm oak), a particular variety of oak that is widespread in our area. Today, no trace of this historic villa remains, but our passion and respect for our territory has led us to pass on the name of this ancient presence. |

Ylice is the wine with which we wanted to capture and enhance the value and uniqueness of the vineyard "La Spina"; a vineyard cultivated with Verdicchio on sandy soil that lies close to a lush forest of oak trees, in effect a small "Cru" within the cultivation area of Verdicchio Classico. Taking care of the vines in full respect of the territory, carefully controlling every single intervention and working with passion in the cellar allows us to offer you a unique wine, made of great freshness, excellent drinkability and innate elegance.
