Azienda Agricola Pinino
Pinino is located in the north of Montalcino, embedded like a natural amphitheatre into the beautiful and famous hillside of Montosoli. This unique geographical location, which once attracted the wealthy of Montalcino, has become known as one of the best areas of the region for wine production.
The Pinino estate can look back to a long history of winemaking. The original estate was built in Montalcino in 1874 by the notary Tito Costanti. Nearly 100 years later, in 1950, Pinino was then inscribed to the Brunello Winemakers Register as one of the first wine estates in Montalcino. In December 2003, the Vineyard was acquired by its current owners, the befriended couples Andrea and Hannes Gamon and Silvia and Max Hernandez who, within a short time, transformed the wine estate into a crown jewel producing first class wines.
