Biondelli
In the heart of the Franciacorta wine region, in a 16th century farmhouse built opposite the historic medieval castle of Bornato, stand the Biondelli cellars. Today, the ancient estate is a modern company equipped with the most advanced wine-making technologies, capable of guaranteeing the production of high quality organic wines in a perfect combination of tradition and modernity. The new underground cellar has made it possible to create a structure suitable for the vinification of the various grapes from vineyards planted according to the vocation of each piece of land.
The multi-secular commitment of the Biondelli Family in the agricultural sector has led us towards an attachment to the territory with consequent development of a great attention to the preservation of the environment. In order to minimise the environmental impact of production activities and to guarantee the highest quality of the wines produced, in 2014 we obtained organic certification for our wines.
This process involves excluding the use of pesticides and fertilisers in the treatment of the vines, as well as imposing a considerable reduction in the amount of sulphites present in the final product. A path that requires considerable commitment and great attention at every stage of production, but that allows the zero dispersion of potentially harmful substances into the environment and the reduction of their presence in the final product.
