The nose is intense, complex and fine, with floral notes of red fruit such as cherries, currants and blueberries, as well as spicy notes of pepper, cloves and liquorice. The mineral presence of the component aromas is also evident and dominated, especially the classic and distinctive hint of black graphite that characterises its origin and close link with the soil and territory. The aromatic spectrum is completed by tertiary notes from the ageing in French oak tonneaux that give it light and pleasant hints of cocoa, vanilla and coffee.
